How FlashLink keeps links safe, and how to report one.

# Checks on creation

Destinations and aliases are checked when a link is created or changed: forbidden addresses, official-looking codes, and a list of dangerous sites when Safe Browsing is on. Existing links are checked again regularly.

# Report a link

Anyone can report a link at the report page: phishing, malware, spam, illegal content or other. Reports are read by the moderators.

# What happens next

A moderator can close a link within a minute. Closed links answer “not found” and their QR code stops. The owner keeps the data.
